The teaser visual for the upcoming TV anime “Oshi no Ko Season 2 ” scheduled for 2024 has been released. This visual introduces new voices for Aqua, Arima Kana, and Kurokawa Akane, adding an extra layer of enjoyment.
“Oshi no Ko” is based on a manga created by Aka Akasaka, known for “Kaguya-sama: Love Is War,” and Mengo Yokoyari, the mind behind “Scum’s Wish.” The story revolves around twins Aqua and Ruby, born from the reincarnation of the idol Hoshino Ai, with Ruby aspiring to become an idol inspired by her mother while Aqua supports her and secretly searches for someone important. The first season of the anime, produced by the animation studio Douga Koubou, aired from April to June this year.
In the Season 2, Aqua is depicted participating in a 2.5-dimensional stage alongside Arima Kana and Kurokawa Akane. The teaser visual includes lines such as, “Honestly… an outrageous script has come up, hasn’t it?” and “This time, I’ll be the one to help Aqua-kun,” hinting at a new drama. These lines, along with the character visuals of Arima Kana, Kurokawa Akane, and Aqua, are showcased in the promotional footage.
