The broadcast of the anticipated TV anime “Temptation of 2.5 Dimensions” has been officially confirmed for the year 2024.

This work is based on the popular manga by Yu Hashimoto, serialized on the manga magazine app “Shonen Jump+” since 2019. The series has already reached its 17th volume in bookstores, with a cumulative circulation of over 1.7 million copies.
In conjunction with the anime adaptation, an official website has unveiled the story’s overview and key staff information. The animation production will be handled by J.C.STAFF, known for works like “A Certain Magical Index,” “Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?,” and “Saiki Kusuo no Psi-nan.” The protagonist, Masamune Okumura, will be voiced by Junya Enoki, while the roles of Lilisa and Mihana Tachibana will be played by Kaori Maeda and Akari Kito, respectively.
The first promotional video (PV) showcases the passionate endeavors of Masamune and Lilisa, capturing the essence of the high-energy cosplay-themed youth story. This PV also marks the debut of the character voices.
The story revolves around Masamune Okumura, an ordinary high school student who is infatuated with the 2D character Lilriel, and Lilisa, a fellow student with a fervent passion for Lilriel cosplay. Their interactions bring together cosplay and fervor in this vibrant coming-of-age comedy.
The anime boasts a prestigious lineup of staff, with direction by Hideki Okamoto, series composition by Takao Yoshioka, and character design by Tomoyuki Shitaya. The musical score will be composed by Hiroaki Tsutsumi. The animation production will be spearheaded by J.C.STAFF.
The captivating first key visual showcases Lilisa’s captivating Lilriel cosplay, along with Mihana Tachibana’s portrayal of the demon, Mirella. This visual is now available for fans to enjoy.
