YOASOBI’s new song “Watch me!” has been announced as the opening theme for the anime “Witch Watch,” which begins airing on April 6th. A promotional video for the anime featuring a portion of the song has also been released.

YOASOBI Comments:

“We are YOASOBI, and we are honored to perform the opening theme for ‘Witch Watch’ with our new song ‘Watch me!’ I, Ayase, have been a fan of ‘Witch Watch’ and Shinohara Kenta-sensei’s work since ‘SKET DANCE,’ so I am very honored to receive this offer. I wrote ‘Watch me!’ focusing on the pure, romantic feelings that the main character, Niko Wakatsuki, has for her childhood friend, Morihito Otsuki. I love Niko-chan as a character who is in love with Morihito, and I think the song expresses her cuteness.”
