Three character PVs have been released, highlighting the main characters of “Vigilantes: My Hero Academia ILLEGALS” the official spin-off of “My Hero Academia”, which has been confirmed for an anime adaptation.
Koichi Haimawari is a hardworking college student who spends his days juggling part-time jobs. Despite not being a professional hero, he engages in volunteer work that earns him the nickname “Nice Guy” from the locals. Pop☆Step is a girl with a dual personality—an idol on stage but much more reserved in private. Knuckleduster is a bold and powerful fighter. Each of these three characters is unique and compelling in their own way.
The series is an official spin-off of My Hero Academia, written by Hideyuki Furuhashi and illustrated by Betten Court. It was serialized in Jump GIGA (published by Shueisha) and Shonen Jump+. Set several years after the events of My Hero Academia, the story follows individuals who, despite being unable to become licensed heroes—an elite profession—cannot turn a blind eye to those in need. Instead, they take matters into their own hands as underground “illegal” heroes.
