The TV anime Blue Box “Ao no Hako” concluded its final episode in March 2025. Now, the highly anticipated production of Season 2 has been officially confirmed.
The newly released Season 2 announcement PV features memorable scenes of Taiki, Chinatsu, and Hina, along with newly recorded voice lines from Reina Ueda, who plays Chinatsu. To celebrate the Season 2 announcement, an end card illustrated by Miho Tanino, the anime’s character designer and chief animation director, has also been revealed.
Broadcast start date has not yet been determined.
