At midnight, the time for the Kyoto Inferno operation arrives, and Goichi and his group spring into action. Meanwhile, they witness Shishio’s subordinates being pursued by the police. As the operation begins, the flames fail to rise, leaving Benya frustrated. A messenger then arrives with orders for the Juppongatana, prompting each member to move accordingly.
Meanwhile, Kenshin and his allies reach Osaka Bay, where they come face to face with an unexpected sight—.
