Abe Tsukasa, the artist of the popular anime Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End, posted an illustration of Lum from Urusei Yatsura on the official X account on January 28, 2025. Urusei Yatsura is currently airing as an anime and is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year.
The illustration was originally published in Weekly Shonen Sunday Issue 39, released on August 23, 2023. It features Lum, the heroine of the series. Abe included a congratulatory message, saying, “Happy 45th anniversary to Urusei Yatsura!
