This spring, the ABEMA Anime Channel will kick off the highly anticipated new series “Kaiju No. 8” on Saturday night, April 13th, 2024, at 11:30 PM.
The anime is based on the hugely popular manga by Naoya Matsumoto, serialized on “Shonen Jump+”. Set against a backdrop where humans and monsters are in constant conflict, the story follows Kafka Hibino, a man who dreams of combating monsters but works in a monster-specific cleaning company. One day, Kafka transforms into a monster himself after an encounter with a mysterious creature, earning the moniker “Kaiju No. 8” and becoming the hunted.
