Story
While investigating the “curse” requested by Empress Dowager An, Maomao stays at Jinshi‘s mansion for the first time in a while. While listening to Suiren talk about Jinshi’s childhood in her room, Maomao finds a strangely colored pebble in a chest containing Jinshi’s favorite toys from his childhood.
This pebble is the key to solving the mystery of the “curse” that the Empress Dowager placed on the former emperor—the mystery of why the former emperor’s body remains unchanged from his lifetime. To uncover the secret of the late emperor and the true nature of the curse, Maomao visits the former emperor’s room with the Empress Dowager, Jinshi, and others.
